As a personal finance writer, Rebecca has written extensively about student loans, financial aid, budgeting and related topics, and her work has been shared on various leading publications, including MarketWatch, U.S. News, CBS News, Business Insider and The Huffington Post. Along with sharing personal finance advice, she produces data-driven studies and surveys and conducts original reporting by interviewing finance experts and student loan borrowers.
Prior to her work in personal finance, Rebecca covered education for a leading test prep company and worked as a teacher and college counselor to high school students. Having guided dozens of students and their families through the admissions process, Rebecca has firsthand insight into the challenges that come with college and financial planning.
She’s also the founder of Remote Bliss, a job board and resource for remote professionals and the companies that hire them.
Rebecca received her Master of Education in adolescent counseling from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she learned how to promote positive outcomes for adolescents and took part in a year-long practicum working with high schoolers. She also has a bachelor’s in English literature from Tufts University and a certification in teaching English as a Second Language.
